SOFTSHELL JACKET SPECIAL FORCES
Another product from our Special Units Department, which is available exclusively at the Carinthia online shop. When the weather is very cold, high-performance cold protection jackets (e.g. HIG 4.0) are used. The disadvantage is the restricted freedom of movement. During the development of the Softshell jacket, care was taken to achieve weather resistance at moderate temperatures while at the same time ensuring the appropriate freedom of movement. Protection against rapid cooling (windproof thanks to GORE windstopper membrane) combined with high respiratory activity are the most important properties that are required. Even with light showers, high-quality softshell fabrics can easily keep the wearer dry, but are not a complete substitute for rain protection gear. In combination with base layers, the Softshell multifunctional jacket is highly versatile and also allows activities in the range of + 10 ° C due to the increased freedom of movement.

- Hybrid jacket with long arms and G-LOFT® Insulation as well as breathable back part
- Outer material made of windproof softshell with ePTFE membrane GORE 3-layer softshell and WINDSTOPPER
- Backside with uncoated PA fabric, stitched with 40 g of G-LOFT® Si insulating fleece
- Helmet compatible hood, 2-way adjustable by cord & cord stopper
- Shoulder area with reinforcement by Keprotec (aramid fibers -> Kevlar fabric)
- Waterproof front zipper with underride and chin guard
- Ventilation / penetration openings under the arm with splash-proof zipper in the side seam
- Two large, insulated side pockets with water-resistant zipper
- Preformed sleeves
- Sleeves with elastic cuffs
- Two attached upper arm pockets with water resistant zipper and velcro for attaching badges
- Jacket hem adjustable with drawcord and stopper
