Purpose and legal basis
We process personal data exclusively in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR and the Austrian Data Protection Act. The following legal bases serve as a basis:

- Contract fulfillment (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR): To fulfill our contractual obligations towards you.

Storage duration

Our website uses TLS encryption (Transport Layer Security) for secure transmission of your data. You can recognize this by the lock symbol in the address bar of your browser and the prefix https://. We have also implemented technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of your data against unauthorized access, loss or manipulation.
 

3. Collection and storage of personal data

a. When visiting the website

Every time you access our website, the following information is automatically recorded in the server log files:
• IP address (anonymized)
• Date and time of access
• Length of stay
• Pages visited
• Browser type and version
• Operating system
• URL of origin (referrer)

This data is used exclusively to ensure trouble-free operation of the website, to improve our offer and for error analysis.

Google Analytics uses cookies to evaluate information about the user behavior of visitors to our website and to create reports so that we can get a better picture of our users. These reports contain information about age, gender and interests, but this data cannot be assigned to individual people. This data is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Your IP address is recorded, but because our website has implemented Google Analytics IP anonymization, it is immediately pseudonymized (i.e. by deleting the last 8 bits, the personal reference is no longer applicable). This data is not merged with other Google data.

You can stop the use of the activities and information of your Google account by checking the box under "Advertising Settings" at https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated.

The data is processed on the basis of the legal provisions of Article 6 of the GDPR. Our concern in the sense of legitimate interest is to improve our offer and our website.

A direct customer contract was concluded between Google and us by accepting the "Data Processing Addendum" in Google Analytics.

5. Retargeting

We also use the data collected during your visit to show you so-called banner advertising. Internet users who have already shown an interest in our shop or our products are shown advertising on other websites about products they have viewed or products that are similar to the products they have viewed. We use this to make the Internet offering interesting for you. We are convinced that the display of personalized, interest-based advertising is generally more attractive to you than advertising without a personal reference. The basis for this is the setting of cookies and the analysis of previous usage behavior (no personal data of visitors is stored).
 

6. Third-party cookies

We also use a number of advertising partners who help us to make the Internet offering and our websites more interesting for you. When you visit our website, cookies from these companies are also stored on your device. These cookies have a lifespan of 14 days to 10 years and are deleted automatically after this time and only contain pseudonymous, usually even anonymous data. 9. Use of YouTube

Videos from our official YouTube channel may be embedded on our websites. An offer from YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA).

To protect your privacy, we use YouTube's "extended data protection mode" for the integration, but your browser establishes a direct connection to YouTube's servers as soon as you access the subpage in which the video is embedded. However, the extended data protection mode does not save any data; only when you click on the video is the YouTube server informed which specific page of our website you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, this data will be assigned to your personal profile. If you do not want this assignment, please log out of your account beforehand.

10. Handling contact details

If you contact us using the contact options offered, your details will be saved for the time it takes to process and answer your request. Without this process, we would not be able to process your request. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent. However, if no contractual relationship is established, this data will be deleted immediately.
 

11. Handling personal data

Personal data is all information that can be traced back to you or that is used to identify you (e.g. name, address, contact details). Processing is any process carried out in connection with personal data such as collection, storage, modification, use, disclosure by transmission and even deletion.

The following personal data is mandatorily collected and processed when you make a purchase via the online shop:

• Billing address
• Delivery address
• Telephone number
• E-mail address (only serves to provide information about the processing of your order)

This personal data is stored, used and passed on for the purpose of the purchase process and for later contract processing (billing, delivery, customer service). Your personal data is used exclusively for these purposes; it is only passed on if this is permitted within the legal framework, the data is required for legal proceedings or if you have consented. For example, transport or logistics companies receive the necessary data for the delivery of the goods as part of the order processing. The data passed on in this way may only be used by these service providers to fulfill their task.

Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of Article 6 GDPR (in particular consent and/or the need to fulfill the contract).

We process your personal data, if necessary, for the duration of the entire business relationship (from initiation, processing to termination of a contract) and beyond that in accordance with the statutory retention and documentation obligations and until the end of any legal dispute, ongoing warranty and guarantee periods, etc.

12. Newsletter subscription

We offer you a newsletter in which you are informed about current offers and new products. If you would like to subscribe to this, you must provide an email address. Without providing this data, it is not possible to send our newsletter. You can revoke this consent at any time and unsubscribe from the newsletter by sending us a message in text form using the contact details above or by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the end of the newsletter. From this point on, we will delete all data that was saved when you registered for the newsletter.

13. Postal advertising

In addition, we reserve the right to store your first and last name, your postal address and - if we have received this additional information from you as part of the contractual relationship - your title, academic degree, year of birth and your professional, industry or business name in summarized lists and to use them for our own advertising purposes, e.g. to send interesting offers and information about our products by post. You can object to the storage and use of your data for these purposes at any time by sending a message to the contact option described below.
 

14. User rights: information, correction and deletion

You can obtain information about your data stored by us free of charge at any time. You are entitled to view, confirm, correct, rectify, update, supplement, anonymize, block, restrict or delete your personal data.
If you have any questions about the processing of your personal data or if you would like us to pass on your personal data to another company or person, please contact us. Our company grants you all the rights to which you are entitled under applicable law with regard to your personal data. If you believe that your rights have been violated or that your data has been handled unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority within 1 year (Limburggasse 8-10, 1080 Vienna, email: dsb@dsb.gv.at).
 

15. Data security

The company uses technical and organizational security measures to protect the stored data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss or destruction and against access by unauthorized persons. An IT service provider was commissioned to continuously ensure or improve technical security in line with technical progress. Since this company would have access to personal data, an agreement on contract data processing was concluded in accordance with Art. 28 of the GDPR, in which the company undertakes to comply with the applicable data protection regulations.
 

16. Changes to this data protection information

We reserve the right to adapt the data protection declaration as required in the event of changes to data protection requirements. The updated data protection declaration is published on our website. Subject to applicable legal provisions, all changes come into force as soon as the updated data protection declaration is published. If we have already collected data from you and/or are subject to a legal obligation to provide information, we will also inform you of any significant changes to our data protection declaration and ask for your consent.
 

17. Creditworthiness or identity check

If you have chosen “Klarna” as your payment method, we will forward certain personal data (e.g. title, name, address, email, telephone number, date of birth, IP address, gender) together with the data required for transaction processing (item, invoice amount, order date and time of order) to our contractual partner, Klarna Austria GmbH, Mayerhofgasse 1/20, 1040 Vienna, headquarters Sveavägen 46 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden (“Klarna”). Klarna acts as our technical payment service provider.

To verify the identity or creditworthiness of customers, queries are carried out with credit agencies.

When you pay with PayPal, we do not receive any account or credit card details. These are already stored with PayPal. We only receive the email address that you provided when you registered. Payments are processed in accordance with PayPal's data protection regulations. The data protection officer (Art. 4 Z 7 GDPR) is PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. et Cie, S.C.A. 22 - 24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg.

For the purpose of its own credit check, PayPal transmits your personal data to credit agencies (credit agencies) and receives information from them and, if applicable, credit information based on mathematical-statistical procedures (probability or score values).
