Our production facility in Slovakia forms the basis of our insulation technology. Innovative and unique insulation nonwovens are manufactured there over a length of 120 meters. The new and optimized plant was developed over a period of 5 years and has been in operation since 2018. The production facility is one of the most modern in the world.Advantages of G-LOFT®

The G-LOFT® Bi-Component Fiber has a micrometer-fine air channel running through it. As a hollow fiber, it provides optimum thermal insulation - similar to the fur of a polar bear. It consists of two different raw materials that contract to different degrees when they cool down after the spinning process. This creates a spiral-like structure, comparable to a spring, which is permanently anchored in the molecular structure. Thanks to the memory effect, the G-LOFT® insulation always returns to its original, particularly warm and airy shape.
Whether comforter or outdoor clothing - depending on the desired properties of the end product, the G-LOFT® bi-component fibers are combined with a specific blend of micro and melt fibers (low-melt fibers). The microfibers as full fibers ensure a flatter structure and a smaller pack size, while the low-melt fibers are responsible for lightness and flexibility. Thanks to thermal bonding, their outer shell fuses with the other fibers, ensuring a permanently soft loft.
The G-LOFT® fibers form so-called “clusters” within the insulating layer, similar to those found in high-quality down. Air is trapped in countless small cushions, creating optimum, durable insulation in all directions. Thanks to this cluster formation, which is unique for synthetic fibers, the G-LOFT® fiber has similar thermal insulation properties to natural down filling. Unlike down, however, the G-LOFT fiber dries very quickly after washing and immediately returns to its original airy shape.
Independent studies prove it: The innovative fiber technology gives the G-LOFT® insulation an unrivaled warmth-to-weight ratio. The extremely hollow structure significantly reduces the weight and at the same time ensures optimum thermal insulation. G-LOFT® is therefore noticeably lighter and achieves a demonstrably higher thermal performance than other insulation materials for the same weight.
G-LOFT® products compress particularly well. Thanks to the excellent bulking properties, trapped air can easily escape when packing and stowing sleeping bags or blankets. The memory effect ensures that the spiral structure of the G-LOFT® fiber is permanently retained so that the loft is quickly restored after unpacking.
Inspired by nature, the G-LOFT® fiber combines the advantages of natural down with the insensitivity of synthetic materials. Unlike down, G-LOFT® synthetic fibers do not absorb moisture and offer very high thermal performance even when wet. This makes G-LOFT® products ideal for use in cold and damp areas.
Thanks to the natural cluster structure, the G-LOFT® insulation is particularly breathable. The air can circulate freely without extracting heat, ensuring optimum moisture transport. This keeps the body warm and dry. G-LOFT® products guarantee perfect temperature regulation for outdoor activities and a comfortable sleeping climate.
G-LOFT® products can be easily cleaned in conventional washing machines without any loss of performance. Thanks to the memory effect, the fibers always return to their spiral structure and guarantee lasting loft and optimum thermal insulation even after repeated washing. Thanks to its easy-care properties, the G-LOFT® fiber is particularly suitable for allergy sufferers.
